PDX Kids Swap - because your kids need clothes, too!

Round up unwanted clean children's clothing, accessories, and other wearables your kids don't use or love anymore and bring them to the swap!

WHAT: Free kid's clothing swap

**Be sure to arrive a little early to your size swap. **

WHERE: Sign up to be added to the e-mail list, and you'll receive directions to the location of the swap.

BRING: Clean clothes in reasonable condition, no rips, tears, visible stains, etc. There are no minimum requirements for how many items you have to bring or how many you can take, but please be courteous and generous. Don't forget to bring a bag to carry your treasures home in.
In addition to the appropriate-sized clothing (according to your group), you can also bring gently used kid's accessories and other wearables:

• shoes & boots
• socks
• hats
• scarves and mittens
• sunglasses
• bibs and bottles

Items that do not get swapped will be donated to low income and high needs families in our pdx community.

If you have any questions about the swap or are not already on our email list and would like to receive email notification of future kid's clothing swaps send us an email with the size and gender of clothing you will bring and the size and gender of clothing you need (we will not spam or sell your name - we promise!). The only "membership" rule is that you be respectful and have fun! Please bring only the stuff listed on what to bring list.  

We will try to meet at least once every few months depending on everyone's schedule and availability of the meeting area.

HOW IT WORKS:  At the designated time, we will put all the clothes in a pile on the floor. You then grab what looks good to you and put it in a pile behind you. What you decide to keep you put in your sack. What you don't want you throw back into the pile for someone else.

NOTE:  Some have asked if they can bring their kids along. You know your children best - if they like to stay close by you and enjoy the color and pageantry of clothes, feel free to bring them along. Please remember, however, that the meeting area may not be child-proofed, so consider bringing something (like crayons or books) to engage small children.
