FREE CLOTHES - that actually fit! Save money, look good, and have fun!

Clean out your drawers and closets of size 6-10 women's clothes (including petite and junior equivalents) that are the wrong color, are too small/large for you, or clothes you are just tired of. Wash them up and bring them to the next announced clothing swap. Feel free to pass this along to your small and medium friends. In fact, feel free to bring a small/medium sized friend to the swap:)

If this is your first clothing swap, here are some tips.

1. Wear spandex, bike, or yoga clothes under your regular clothes so you can try things on without getting naked.
   
2. Bring a sack to cart your *new* clothes home.
   
3. If you'd like, bring a small or medium sized friend with you.
4. Bring any clean size 6-10 womens clothes (and petite or junior equivalents). You can also bring shoes, hats, gloves, jewelry, etc.

At the appointed time (look for an e-mail announcing the next swap date), we will put all the clothes in a pile on the floor. You then grab what looks good to you and put it in a pile behind you. When you feel you have a good stash, you try on what's in your pile. What you want, you put in your sack. What you don't want you throw back into the pile for someone else to try on. I will have 2 mirrors, one in the hallway and one in the dining room so you can see what you look like. (If you want to bring your own full-length mirror, feel free.) Depending on how many people we have, this may last anywhere from 20 minutes to 45 minutes, so time spent is short and sweet:)

Some women with small children have asked if they can bring them along. You know your children best - if they like to stay close by you and enjoy the color and pagentry of clothes, feel free to bring them along:)

THE SCOOP

This swap is coordinated by the fabulous Amy Alice, and is held on the first Sunday of the month at 3:00 PM. (There may be some changes due to travel plans, but we'll be sure to let you know if you're on the swap list).

The location of the swap is super-to-secret. OK, it's not - you just have to sign up for the swap and we'll send you the details. It's super-easy to find, off East Burnside with some delish parking. And it's "technically" called the large swap but it's "actually" a medium & large swap, because clothing manufacturers can't seem to make up their minds about what size means what. Size 10 to size 14 - you're in the right place!
